Update 9.0 - Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Part 1)

Introduction

Greetings, Agents!

This is CM Fragment of MARVEL Future Fight.

The Guardians of the Galaxy have shown themselves with the sound of joyful music and shooting!
We have prepared the May Update in celebration of the release of Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy 3!

Here are the main heroes of the Update!
Tier-4 for Star-Lord, Tier-3 for Rocket Raccoon, and Potential Transcendence for Mantis and Nebula have been added.

The upgraded heroes will show their powers in the new PVP game mode: Otherworld Battle!
Enchant materials for the new growth system X of Swords can be acquired on the new battlefield, so we look forward to your active participation.

Check out the various improvements that have been made, such as the C.T.P. of Insight Reforge and the addition of Soul of the Faltine as the Giant Boss Raid: Galactus reward as well!

Three New Uniforms

New Uniforms inspired by Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy 3 have been added.
Check out the abilities of Star-Lord <Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy 3>, Rocket Raccoon <Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy 3>, and Mantis <Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy 3>.

• New Uniform Skills are based on the following skill Level stats. (Tier-4 heroes: Lv. 10, Others: Lv. 6)
• The three new Uniforms will be on sale for 50% off during the <May Update Celebration Event>, and can be checked and purchased in the Marvel Universe and the Uniform Room after the event.

Star-Lord Tier-4

Tier-4 advancement has been added to Star-Lord.
Check out the abilities of the legendary outlaw the Universe will remember.

• The skill effects are based on Lv.6 stats.

Rocket Raccoon Tier-3

Tier-3 advancement has been added to Rocket Raccoon.
The strategist of the team will lead the launch to the right location to turn the tides.

Mantis & Nebula Potential Awakening & Transcend Potential

Through the May Update, Mantis and Nebula will acquire Potential Awakening & Transcendence!

• The skill effects are based on Lv.6 stats.

New PVP Game Mode: Otherworld Battle

Otherworld Battle is a seasonal PVP game mode where five heroes battle each other!
Win Otherworld Battles to acquire various items and X of Swords enchant materials.

• 1. Season Duration

  Each Otherworld Battle season will be progressed for eight weeks with the following schedule.

  • Each season will be reset at (Sat) 15:00 (UTC+0), (Sat) 8:00 (PDT) on an 8-week basis.
  • Otherworld Battle can be entered without any costs and participation limits during the season.

  
  

  • The season calculation will be progressed for approximately five minutes after the season ends from (Sat) 15:00 (UTC+0), (Sat) 8:00 (PDT).
  • Participation in the Arena and the shop will not be available during the calculation period.
  • Otherworld Battle will be opened right after the 5/2 Maintenance.
  • The update week will be counted as the 1st week, and the 1st week of the first season will be held for about five days. (The 1st week will begin on 4/29 (Sat) 15:00 (UTC+0), 4/29 (Sat) 8:00 (PDT).)

  

• 2. Leagues

  Otherworld Battle consists of six leagues, from Bronze to Challenger.
  The league will be decided based on the Battle Point.

  • The final score will be adjusted when a new season starts and the league may be moved.

  [Battle Point]

  The point ranging from 0 to 4,500 can be acquired or retrieved based on the battle results when you challenge another Agent or defend against another Agent.
  Especially, bonus points can be acquired when challenging another Agent based on the consecutive win count and the number of surviving heroes.

  

• 3. Team Selection

  Tap the Set Team button to select five heroes before searching for an opponent.
  Check the Battle Effect that is being applied for the season when setting a team and select heroes with benefits!

  

  After selecting five heroes, tap the “Battlefield Deployment” button.
  Select the location where each hero will appear on the battlefield and the buff to apply for the hero.
  One buff can be equipped for each participating hero.

  

  

  [Buff]

  Buffs can be purchased at the Battlefield Shop with Warrior Mementos and can be upgraded with Warrior Mementos.
  Only one buff of the same type can be possessed, and a buff cannot be applied to multiple heroes.
  Buffs that have been acquired will expire after the end of the season.

  

  Various items aside from buffs as well such as Dimension Chest: C.T.P., Odin's Blessing Chest, Tier-3 growth materials, Tier-4 growth materials, and X of Swords materials can be purchased at the Battlefield Shop.

  

• 4. Opponent Selection

  Tap the “Search for Opponent” button to proceed with the battle.

  • Agents can set the location of their heroes strategically after checking the information of the matched opponent.
  • Agents can change the matched opponent with Gold.

  

  

• 5. Gameplay

  The battle will proceed automatically, and the battle will end when all heroes of either side are defeated or when the set battle time has ended.

  

• 6. Battle Rewards

  The results can be checked when the battle ends, and points and rewards can be acquired.

  [Daily Reward]

  Daily rewards can be acquired up to five times and will reset at 15:00 (UTC+0), 8:00 (PDT).
  After using all acquisition limits, Agents can refill the limit with materials up to five times.

  

• 7. Rank and League Rewards

  Rank Rewards or League Rewards can be acquired when the weekly or entire season ends.

  • A Frame for the main icon can be acquired as a reward when the season ends.
    Frame rewards will only be applied until the next season after acquisition.
  • The rank will be reset when the season ends.
  • A trophy will be awarded to the Agent who has Ranked 1st place.
    The trophy will be accumulated for each season.

  Please take note that the rewards will not be given when the league evaluation is not finished!

  Battle Points will not be acquired or lost from the Challenge of other Agents during the evaluation period.

  

  The number of Runes that can be acquired in each Element Rune Chest will differ based on the league or rank.

  

  

• 8. Battle Pass

  Purchase the Battle Pass to acquire rewards for a set period by raising the level with pass points that can be acquired by playing Otherworld Battle.

  Battle pass points can be acquired by clearing challenges or through the battle result rewards after purchasing the Battle Pass.
  Agents can also use Crystals to raise one level of the Battle Pass immediately.

  

  

  Upgrade the Battle Pass to Premium to get various items compared to the Normal Pass and additional Battle Points when winning or being defeated in Otherworld Battle as a reward.

  

  • The Otherworld Battle Battle Pass cannot be purchased right before the end of the season and when the calculation is being progressed.
    Please check the sale period in-game.
  • Please note that the Battle Pass effects will apply immediately upon purchase and cannot be refunded.
  • The pass rewards, level, and pass points will all be reset after the season.

  

  • There are 100 levels for the Otherworld Battle Pass.
    Agents can receive the following rewards when achieving all the levels.
  • The number of Runes that can be acquired in each Element Rune Chest or Selector is set.

New Growth System: X of Swords

X of Swords are equipment items with special abilities that apply to all heroes.
Enchant your Swords and apply elements to raise the Element Mastery and Level.

• 1. Applying Enchantments

  Enchant the Sword of the Unknown (which is the basic form) to +6, and apply up to six Elements and Enchant effects with Enchantment Runes as materials.

  [Enchantment Rune]

  Rune Type	Description
  Rune of the Unknown	One of the six elements can be applied randomly based on the chances.
  Rune of Strength, Intelligence, Judgment, Psionics, Stamina, and Dexterity	The enchantment element of each type will be applied at a higher chance than the Rune of the Unknown.
  Radiant Rune of Strength, Intelligence, Judgment, Psionics, Stamina, and Dexterity	The enchantment element of each type will be applied at a higher chance than normal Element Runes.

  

• 2. Enchant Effects & Awakening

  The enchant effects will differ based on the Element and the Enchantment Level.

  For example:

  Power Element Level	Effect Acquirable
  1	Increases basic damage dealt to certain types Decreases basic damage received from certain types
  3	Increases basic damage dealt to certain Instincts Decreases basic damage received from certain Instincts

  

  The result can be reverted with the Rune of Return to the former effects.
  The materials will not be given back when reverting, and the level, Enchant Element, and option will be reset to the prior state of succeeding the enchant.

  • Only Swords that have been enchanted to +2 or higher can be reverted and Awakened Swords cannot be reverted.
  • A Sword can be reverted for a maximum of three times.

  A Sword of the Unknown that has been enhanced to +6 can be Awakened.

  • Awakening will be progressed based on the element that has been applied most among the six enhancement types.
  • When two or more elements are applied with the same ratio, one element will be selected based on the chances.

  

  

• 3. Sword Equipping

  There are six slots where the X of Swords can be equipped, and Swords can be equipped from Sword of the Unknown, which has been enhanced to +1.

  

  • Equipped Swords can be unequipped with Crystals or can be changed by destroying the equipped sword and replacing it with another sword.

  When equipping a Sword that has been Awakened, the Element Mastery and Element Level will be set based on the element of the Sword.

  [Element Mastery]
  Element Mastery is the sum of all Element Levels.
  The highest level is 36, which raises all basic attacks by +50%.

  [Element Level]
  The level will be increased to a maximum of Lv.6 based on the sum of the element of all Awakened Swords equipped in a slot.

  • The effects are based on Lv.6 stats.

  

  

• 4. Dismantling

  Swords can be dismantled with Gold to acquire Runes of the Unknown.

  • Equipped Swords cannot be dismantled.

  

• 5. Changing Options

  The options of Swords that have been awakened can be changed.

  • One Sword of the same enhance level and Gold will be consumed when changing the option.
  • A Sword of the Unknown with the same enhance level can also be used as a material.
  • The Element type of the Sword will not be changed when changing the option and all possessed options will be changed.

  

  Use Crystals to fix the option you do not want to change when changing the option.
  <Select> the option you want to <Keep the option>.

  

C.T.P. of Insight Reforging

A new C.T.P. will be available for reforging.
Check out the C.T.P. of Insight, which has become more powerful with the new effects!

• The C.T.P. reforging skill effects listed are based on the maximum stats.

New Artifacts

Exclusive Passive Skill Artifacts for Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, and Nebula will be added after the May Update.

• The skill effects are based on Lv.4 stats.

New Future Pass Season & Special Icons

A new season of Future Pass will start after the update.
Obtain various rewards along with Special Icons with the Future Pass.

• Please note that the Future Pass effects will apply immediately upon purchase and cannot be refunded.
• Legendary and Mythic Future Pass that has been unlocked will only be applied during the season the Pass was purchased, and the Pass rewards will only be available during the same season. Please don't forget to check the remaining event time.
• The Mythic Pass can be purchased after purchasing the Legendary Pass.
• Legendary and Mythic Future Pass will not be available for purchase when the season is about to end. Please check the sale period in the game.

New Special Icons that will represent you have been added.
Collect two new Icons as Future Pass Rewards and two more from the upcoming Event!

Other Improvements and Changes

1. Soul of the Faltine can now be acquired in Giant Boss Raid: Galactus as well.

• The daily acquisition limit of x150 is shared in Galactus and Dormammu.
• The number of the Soul of the Faltines that can be acquired when clearing Galactus and Dormammu may be different.

2. The HP, defense, and reduce debuff duration ability of Giant Boss Raid: Master Mold has been adjusted.

3. A feature to check the success or failure when using a Bluetooth keyboard in Skill Preview - Practice Combo has been added.

4. The text of Guard Break in Game Guide - Skill Name Glossary has been partially changed.

5. New products that will appear when certain conditions are met and pop-up products have been added.

6. Some skill effects of the following hero will not be displayed in Giant Boss Raid: Professor X (Tier-3 Ultimate Skill).

7. Captain America (Sharon Rogers) <Poseidon Armor>'s 3rd and 5th active skills have been improved to be used with other skills in a combo more easily.

8. A feature to check the success or failure when using basic attacks in Skill Preview - Practice Combo has been added.

Game Error Fixes

1. The issue of the counterattack ability of the 3rd active skill of Blue Dragon <Moon Temple Defenders> not being activated normally under certain conditions has been fixed.
2. The issue of the Auto Play++ feature that has been activated being changed to Auto Play+ when retrying the stage in Dimension Rift has been fixed
3. The issue of some S.H.I.E.L.D. Archive Instinct rate effects and Synergy Uniform effects not being applied in PVP contents has been fixed.
4. The issue of being set as the target to be moved to the Mindless One area in Giant Boss Raid: Dormammu when using a Tier-4 skill has been fixed.
5. The intermittent issue of two or more players being moved in Giant Boss Raid: Dormammu when the Mindless One battle area pattern has been activated under certain circumstances.
6. The issue of the Delightful Token not being registered in the Event Token Archive when acquired has been fixed.
7. The issue of the numbers of the 8-Year Specials! Event Stage & Gift Box Crafting Event being displayed abnormally when using auto-repetition features has been fixed.
8. The issue of the icon not being displayed when using the Tier-2 skill of Groot has been fixed.
   (The healing effect has been applied normally.
9. The remaining time of buffs has been fixed not to be reduced when the animation for the Ultimate Skill of Captain America (Sharon Rogers) <Poseidon Armor> is being displayed.
