Eight New Uniforms
One for each true Divine. The Thanos Vibes community do not worship Talos, not because we doubt his ascension to godhood, but because he is a pedophile.
Captain America (Sharon Rogers) [Champion of Cyrodiil]
Captain America (Sharon Rogers) [Champion of Cyrodiil]
After waking up in a prison with no memories, Sharon Rogers is thrust headfirst into the Mythic Dawn's sinister plot. She links up with the Blades, helping them close shut the jaws of Oblivion.
Skills: Maintains the iconic 3c5c4 rotation but is now mounted on a horse adorned with brilliant golden armor. As a Child of the Sky, her Tier-3 skill unleashes the ancient Th'uum as a giant ball of tonal energy. My OC my rules.
Usability: A change to Combat type allows her to overtake Crescent as the best Combat Female for both ABX and WBL.
Mephisto [Prince of Ambition]
Mephisto [Prince of Ambition]
A lord of Hell by a different name, Mephisto's transformation into the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon changes him to a Universal threat.
Skills: Based around opening Oblivion Gates as well as smashing enemies with his four arms. His Tier-3 skill is changed to a slash with Mehrunes' Razor, which every three uses will instantly kill non-bosses, or deal 10x damage to Boss Types. His Uniform Passive, as the Lord of Revolution, gives him a permanent 100% damage boost to enemies above 50% HP.
Usability: A PvE focused uniform that is poised to overtake Loki & Thanos in Universal Villain ABX and Universal Male ABL, balanced by the fact that he is not eligible for Villain Alien. Has some PvP usability too with his native Revive.
White Fox [The Gray Fox]
White Fox [The Gray Fox]
The legendary Gray Fox, leader of the Thieves Guild and wearer of the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. Changes Ami Han to a Speed Villain.
Skills: Retains her support passives but for Agility characters rather than Leadership. As a dealer, she has a PvP-focused kit based on invisibility and i-frames. When she reaches 50% HP or below, she will unequip the Gray Cowl and become completely untargetable by any opponent for 10 seconds, or until she attacks again.
Usability: A Tier-4 upgrade allows her to be used to support both Hero/Leadership and Villain/Agility. Has some niche PvP usage, especially if you play her on manual to take advantage of the unique passive.
Thena [Golden Saint]
Thena [Golden Saint]
Thena finds herself in the Shivering Isles, domain of Sheogorath. Her first uniform gave her dementia, now she's trapped in Mania - all this is enough to turn her into a Villain.
Skills: Basically the same as her [Marvel Studios' Eternals] uniform but with much higher damage.
Usability: With Tier-4 and the Villain adjustment, jumps to the top of the ABX/L meta. Worse than Mephisto for Universal Villain, but a top choice for Villain Female ABX, and Universal Female and Villain Alien ABL.
Professor VII [Uriel Septim]
Professor VII [Uriel Septim]
Emperor Uriel "Charles Xavier" Septim VII is the ruler of a bleeding Empire and father of its Legions, locked in an eternal struggle against their numerous enemies.
Skills: Has increased lead and supports, slightly better than Polaris. Skills are similar to [Quiet Council] but with a unique passive: he has three members of the Blades protecting him, summons that surround him at all times. Professor VII cannot take damage until all three Blades are dead - but once they die, he will die to any hit.
Usability: Slightly better than Psylocke, worse than Gambit for Blast Hero Mutant ABL. Would be the main for that day if you do not have Gambit, and is the best leader for Gambit if you do.
Ancient One [Mystic Dawn]
Ancient One [Mystic Dawn]
The Ancient One seeks out the most powerful mages in this new reality, falling in with the Mythic Dawn cult. With newfound ambitions to cleanse Tamriel in Dagon's name, this Ancient One is a Universal Villain.
Skills: Generic magic-y skills like the previous uniforms but with a focus on Conjuring Daedra. Lead/Supports expand to All Allies, with a new Damage to Bosses support for Mephisto specifically.
Usability: Supports Mephisto in ABX and ABL, as the Allies difference does not matter for those restrictions (Universal Villain and Universal Male).
Hulkling [Adoring Fan]
Hulkling [Adoring Fan]
The Grand Champion's #1 glazer. Unknown to him, Teddy Septim may have the blood of an Emperor coursing through his veins...
Skills: Hulkling uses his shapeshifting abilities to mimic the skills of Sharon Rogers' [Champion of Cyrodiil] uniform, and passively provides her with a 60% Attack and 60% Damage to Villains support buff. He has a constant Taunt buff that draws all enemies' attacks towards him. His Tier-3 Ability has him shattering the Amulet of Kings and transforming into an avatar of Akatosh, dealing massive damage.
Usability: Designed to be a dedicated support for Sharon Rogers, matching her in all tags but gender. Good for tag play too, with weak regular skills but a massive 6th skill that is ideal for popping, charging, and tagging back out.
Lizard [An-Xileel]
Lizard [An-Xileel]
Curt Connors, or Grows-Back-Limbs as he finds himself referred to, blends in with a population of Argonians. His unnatural strength and durability allows him to rise up the ranks of the An-Xileel, leading their charge into the Deadlands.
Skills: A mixture of poison skills and sword attacks. Has a unique 3rd skill, which places a small Hist Sapling on the map when used. Lizard will have increased stats based on proximity to the Hist Sapling, but dies if the Hist Sapling is destroyed. Skill 3 has a long cooldown and can be used again to replant the Sapling in a different position and with full health.
Usability: Mainly a WBL-oriented character that does very high damage when close to the Hist. Nothing gamebreaking but better than most of the other crappy Combat Male Human Heroes.
New Gamemode: Oblivion Raid
New Gamemode: Oblivion Raid
As Oblivion Gates threaten the populace of Cyrodiil, new content has been added to fight back against the forces of Dagon.
This gamemode will have similar rewards to Zombie Survival. For your convenience, Zombie Survival has been removed.
Basics
- In Oblivion Raid, players are grouped into random brackets of 50 players. The mode resets weekly.
- Oblivion Raid is split into 5 stages: 2x "Protect Stages", 2x "Raid Stages", and 1x "Boss Stage". The scores in each stage combine to your final weekly score, which is used to calculate ranking rewards.
- Each stage has a set of Restrictions, similar to ABX and ABL. These restrictions last for 4 weeks at a time before being rerolled. Each time the restrictions are rerolled, it will be announced what the next month's restrictions are, allowing Agents to prepare.
- The two "Protect" and "Raid" stages have the same mechanics, but different restrictions.
- Rewards are distributed both as score milestone rewards, similar to Alliance Battle, as well as weekly ranking rewards, similar to Zombie Survival.
- World Event has been removed and equivalent numbers of Agent Tokens will now drop from Oblivion Raid as participation rewards.
The mixture of stage types is intended to favour a variety of character playstyles as opposed to just another DPS check that favours meta characters. All stages have a duration of 2 minutes.
Protect Stages
An Oblivion Gate has opened near Bravil. To protect this illustrious city, you must prevent the hordes of Daedra from breaching the city walls.
This is a tower defense style mode where most enemies will ignore you and attempt to run towards the opposite end of the map. Similar to Dispatch Missions, all 3 characters in the team will be active at once. Scoring is based both on enemies eliminated, and how many "leaked through" into the city.
Raid Stages
An Oblivion Gate opens, but you are prepared. You jump into the portal and aim to kill as many Daedra inside as you can, before your allies in Tamriel close the portal.
This is a mission-clearing style mode where enemies have relatively low HP, but there are still some Boss types. You rush through linear stages as quickly as possible, with scoring based on enemies eliminated and number of stages cleared. The stages can also have some gimmicks like conveyor belts or collapsing floors or whatever.
Boss Stage
Mephisto has arrived in the Imperial City. Deal as much damage as possible to distract him while Hulkling Septim prepares to become the avatar of Akatosh.
This is a traditional ABX/L style boss scoring mode. You are expected to score about twice as many points in this mode as the Protect and Raid stages, hence why there is only one.
Other Improvements and Changes
Other Improvements and Changes
- Multiple characters may now have the same Tier-4 Striker equipped. In the case that multiple characters on the same team have the same Tier-4 Striker equipped, a warning message will appear. If ignored, the character(s) with the lower Character Power will have their Striker unequipped.
- Various Epic Quest missions have been standardised so that all character farming missions cost 4 Boost Points (previously: some missions cost 6 Boost Points).
- When entering Giant Boss Raid, you are prompted to set your team prior to matchmaking. If you need to, you can still adjust the team in the lobby before readying up.
- Changes made to Timeline Battle tag cooldowns and tag immunity in Update 10.0 have been reverted.
- Clearing Stage 100 in Shadowland will give you the option to "Save" your clears from Floors 1-35 that week. Saved clears can be used to auto-complete the first 35 floors in the subsequent week.
- Alliance Battle Legend Odinforce orbs will no longer land directly on the active character's head.
- Event Challenges (e.g. Hero Pursuit dice, Gold Spending, etc.) will appear in the (!) button in the top right once they are complete.
