Here is a list of World Boss Striker effects placed, roughly ranked by usefulness. (This is the 5 additional characters you select after setting your team.) Note that for Elemental characters, the "Niche / Elemental" category may be more effective than some of the ones above.
You can click/tap on the icons to view the list of characters/uniforms that have that World Boss Striker Effect. The popup that appears can be adjusted in the settings menu in the sidebar.
Ideal
Damage increases are ideal, and benefit all characters. However, when fighting hero World Bosses, keep in mind Leadership will have no effect.

12% Basic Damage Dealt to Heroes

Above Average
While clearly worse than damage increase strikers, these provide slightly more attack than the next tier down.

Average
A lot of characters provide these striker effects, so use them to pad out when you've run out of the above ones.
Agent (Ignore Dodge) is useful for certain bosses and when you have level disadvantage, but use 2-3 per clear max.

These are elemental buffs, so they're decent on elemental characters - but as always, try not to stack too many elemental damage buffs.
The Resist portions can also be useful defensively against bosses that mainly use elemental damage (e.g. Mephisto for Fire Resist).

Stay away from these unless you know what you're doing and have a clear reason to want to use them.
